Are you referring to shoes getting water damage on a water ride? If so, all rides at the resort are "ride at your own risk". Because it is not beyond reasonable expectations for shoes to get wet under normal operating procedures on that type of ride, the onus falls on the rider to make sure to protect anything that may get damaged under those conditions or better yet not take them on the ride.
"You can cut me off from the civilized world. You can incarcerate me with two moronic cellmates. You can torture me with your thrice daily swill, but you cannot break the spirit of a Winchester. My voice shall be heard from this wilderness and I shall be delivered from this fetid and festering sewer."
?? i am sorry i don't follow...

what calsig said. I'd never make disneyland for shoes of mine that get water damaged. they are my shoes, my responsibilty. am i getting the questions correct?
I just wear flip-flops on the wet rides.
I mean as a cast member, the work issued shoes...Sorry for the lack of information in the first post.
Unless you did something really stupid to ruin them, most likely not. I had a couple of pairs get ruined when I worked there and costuming never gave me any grief because they were ruined in the normal course of my duties.
I am currently fostering two puppies until they go to their new home, and one of them ripped part of the shoe up...oops.I guess it's okay if I have to pay, I did leave the shoes on the floor with puppies in the house >.<
