I believe this is my fourth time re-applying for the park since quitting my position as dishwasher back in 2008. I quit back in '08 because I was told I was at the brink of being terminated due to a high level of points I had accumulated due to my bad attendance. Now, I felt I did a great job as a busboy, and a dishwasher, but on top of my bad attendance points, I've been told that there are some bad comments about me on file as well, comments that were not shared with me during the last interview process. Well, what I want to know is, will it be impossible for me to get rehired? I've tried so many times, and I have not given up yet, but what can I do to better my chances of scoring a job? I love Disneyland, and would appreciate any job given, whether temp. or part-time, although I would prefer full-time. Since leaving Disneyland I've been working mostly retail and some fast-food, and I don't go to school at the moment. I may not have the brightest past, but I know if given the opportunity at Disneyland I would do great.
Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
I really hope the holidays are taken into consideration, although I'm more than sure Disneyland is more than prepared staff-wise.
And one more thing, I have a tattoo, and had this tattoo back when I used to work at Disneyland, will it hurt my chances any? It's a small tattoo on my forearm right before the elbow. I've said before during interview that I do not have visible tattoos as I always wear a wrist band, and it's so small that it can be covered with makeup, but I'm afraid it might be considered lying, as they might already know I have one due to some complain they might have on record?
