![]() | Security I'm an ex CM....and finally allowed to return to the park as a CM (I wasnt fired, left due to school) but anyways.....I was curious what the requirements are to be apart of Security at Disneyland, if they pay was any different or the same, etc...if anyone could help me out that would be great...It was fun working at the park, but security always fascinated me in some odd mysterious way, anyways any help would be great as I want to return to the park but not in food services, security would be great...thanks :] |

![]() | Re: Security Right now Security is not hiring and has not hired since 2003. However, in the event they do hire in the near future, you must be 21 years old. If you hire in as a CT the starting pay is $7.50/hr. If you hire in as a CR the starting pay is $9.50/hr. with a 4% annual increase. The starting pay for a CR after 4/01/2007 will be $9.75/hr. The wage scale used to be structured differently with two pay increases per year. In effect, that scale no longer exists for new hires and basically anyone new coming into the department will progress much more slowly as far as wages go. Right now there is a solid core group of well trained Officers most of whom are full-time. There was no hiring prior to the 50th and there was plenty of manpower to meet the needs of the celebration. In fact many of the CR's also worked Guest Control shifts because of the need for more people in that area and lack of hours on the security side. You might try going to TDA and seeing if they have any plans to hire for Summer although I doubt it. We just had the biggest Summer of all time without hiring. GOOD LUCK |

![]() | Re: Security When I worked as a CM, back in the 90's, many of the "summer only" security cm's were high school teachers. They were teach all year, then work DL security in the summer time. But that's all I know about security at DL. |
