That's nothing new,it was like that in 1999-2003 when I was there. They never got the spacing right...ever. I remember when they would send the huge Coach Busses in. I also remember getting to not have to stand in front of guests when they used to drop you off right in front of Harbor House (later Harbor Point) does anyone remember the group therapy shuttles?

Re: Bus Drivers being laid off

The new bus company is terrible. Terrible Terrible Terrible. I have to accomodate AT LEAST an extra 15 minutes just to riding the shuttle. I have had to wait longer, the ride has taken longer, and the buses are all falling apart! I got a bus a few shifts ago where the yellow foam cushioning from the seats was COVERING the floor. It was disgusting. The new Empire buses also only have one door, so it takes twice as long to load/unload. Additionally, some of the Empire buses have room for luggage/cargo above the seats, and every time I ride it, WITHOUT FAIL, I hit my head.... so obnoxious, because they don't say to watch your head. :/

    Oh give me a break!

I'm not defending bad shuttle service, but...

Someone has to tell you to watch your head? And YOU work for Disney?! Wow... I really thought Disney CM's (of all people) would know to "watch their head and step" after hearing it a million times in the park.

Let me guess, do you know McDonald's coffee is hot to? Don't sue them! I know they print it on the cup, but the drive-thru employee might not tell you it's hot.

I think she was referring to the fact that for years they use to always say watch your head and step and have a good one.... not so much of a have a good day anymore

If you've been riding the same damn four buses for going on three years, you would be a little startled too to all of a sudden have these buses with crap above your heads. I'm a creature of habit, in the same situation, you would be too. :/

I still try to exit out the middle door on the Empire busses. Needless to say the wall feels about the same as the overhead racks.
