Try the Disneyland operator and ask for HR if all other numbers have failed... 714-781-4000.

Just curious.... How could you be terminated without you ever knowing the reason why? Did you just show up one day when they escorted you out?

good luck with them giving you information over the phone!! You would probably have to go in person.

Were you termed for points, or a no-show, or other disciplinary action? Unless it was for something criminal, like stealing from the company or using illegal drugs, the government investigation shouldn't be a problem. I've gone through the SSBI twice now, it's really no big deal. Just be completely honest about everything and you have nothing to worry about.

They are not allowed to ask for reason why you terminated, right?? I believe Disney can only verify your employment.

The government will often ask for a waiver so they can ask for detailed information as to why you got fired.

Depends on how detailed the background check is.

One factor the government will use is how long ago the termination took place.

Here is one comforting piece of advice:

They know people are imperfect and sometimes do stupid things.

They won't care so much why you got terminated. What they will care about (a whole lot!!!!!!) is how honest you are about it and how you have matured since then. Lay your cards on the table. Better you tell them than the background investigator find out about it.

Let me tell you something: Saying you don't know why you got terminated won't go over very well with your background officer...everyone knows why they got terminated. Don't tell me you were doing your job, everything is hunky-dorie, and then out of the blue you were walked out by Security. Nonsense.

Having gone through the background check for emergency services myself, they are going to dig so deep they're going to lose the probe! Don't play any games with them. I told them I stole a pack of Chicklets when I was 8! If I screwed up, I spilled my guts! They want honesty more than perfection. If you can show them that you may have been a sloppy person before but are a shining person now, you have nothing to sweat.

If you really want to know the nitty-gritty details of your employment, ask for a copy of your employment record. They have to give it to you.

I think that's what he's trying to do, is to be honest and accurate... making sure his reason matches Disney's

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe...
