    Traditions..??

What can I expect on the day of Traditions?

I know we do a tour of the Park, do we do both Parks?

I know we see a film or two, what are they about?

Will I receive my ID and badge?

Thanks for any information you can share!

Traditions will basically go over the basic stuff you need to know like the 4 keys...
    Safety
    Courtesy
    Show
    Efficiency

History of park and so forth.
You then will have lunch, probably at the Eat Ticket, then tour Disneyland.
At the end of Traditions you will receive your ID and Name tag, providing that they have them done in time
And then you will find out what attraction you are working and when your Guest Interaction and Attraction training will be.

Any idea how soon after Traditions I might actually go through the Guest Interaction and Attraction training?

Do I get to find out what kind of hours I might work?

They will give you your date to start on the job training at the of the end of day of Traditions and where to meet your trainer.

I'm not sure what you mean about "guest interaction training". Isn't that something they go over in Traditions?

As far as your hours go, I trained for 3 days, 8 hours a day and then had to wait for the next weeks schedule to come out.

    Have fun!

Guest Interaction Training is the training for Guest Control that all Attraction LOB CMs go through.

As to Traditions. Er....lots and lots of videos, that's all I'm going to say.

I don't know if every land does it but NOCC did when I first started. They showed you where to get your costume and gave you a little tour of just your land like where the breakrooms are, bathrooms, etc.

    I love Traditions!

Lots of videos, history, power points, tour of the park, and finding out all of your job info. So you will meet with a scheduler and will find out your attraction and your next day of work (training). Your next day could be the next day or in a week. It's usually at least a couple days after traditions.

    (My Traditions are tomorrow)

Also, I am bringing a sack lunch so should I just bring that with me when I go to Traditions or should I leave it in the car when I get there?

Also I'm having my wisdom teeth removed July 22nd and am going to audition for Knott's Scary Farm. Should I discuss that with the scheduler?

Take your lunch with you, you won't have time to go to your car from the backstage area in TDA.

I would mention it, but they not might appreciate you planning to apply for another job at the same time you are just starting at the Disney Resort. Can't hurt to ask....Always "ask before you act", you'll understand that more at Traditions.

Yeah, I agree. Hiring for the Farm is August 11th and I heard that Disneyland is willing to help around Haunt time or something of that nature.
