It's an interesting piece of art. The only piece of artwork which I know for a fact to be of the Excavator, is the one below. In the foreground is the Boneyard, which did get built. In the background, winding through mounds of a dig site, is the Excavator. And to answer the question on the blog, no, there isn't enough land to build it today. Part of the land meant for the excavator still sits unused but the remainder was used to build Dinorama. However, I'm all for bulldozing Dinorama and building this instead.

It certainly would've been a lot better than Dinorama. This coming from someone that actually gets/likes it.

I had always pictured it like a BTMRR. I was glad to see the metal monster!
