I totally understand and appreciate the fact that being an AP holder is a priviledge, much like I was told a driver's licence was supposed to be. Maybe that partly explains the new policy of continual and rapid AP price increases, so that people will better appreciate what they have... although in that case the same APs that now act like a__holes would really feel like they bought the right to be rude.

At any rate, buying an AP is a priviledge, not a right. And one NEVER has the right to be rude.

I am lookinig forward to the day that some AP tries to better me by pulling out his card. I will just have to pull out my stock certificate and tell them that my stock makes me more important than their AP.

Well, I don't have an AP or stock, so what does that make me?

A while back, before they changed the no food/no drink policy...again... these guidelines weren't allowed in attractions..so, one nite, Smiley came in the attraction. i told him that he drinks weren't allowed in, and that he can wait until he was finished. He told me that he always took his drink, and that it was ok for him to bring it in. I told him about the new guidelines. Then, he drank it like it was a shot, threw it on the floor, and stomped on it with his foot! He threw it away, and went on the attraction. When he exited, he lfted the lap bar up so hard, that it made a loud sound, and took off, kicking the trashcans!

Dramaqueen, it makes you much cooler than KoH! First of all, he doesn't have any stock. Second of all, nobody would be talking to him, and third, he wears a wedding band but isn't married. You've got him beat all over the board!

Well, excuuuuse me!!!!!!! I had an AP but I moved to South Dakota so I let it lapse- not much point when DL is a few thousand miles away!

I plan on buying stock eventually.

I hope this is not the beginning of AP snobbery appearing on these boards!

I didn't act entitled when I had an AP and I don't think you are a better or more devoted disney fan if you go to the park every day.

Sorry, but all you should need to have an opinion here is a love of the mouse!

    End of rant.

LOL, I have stock but it means doo doo to everyone else in the park. I just tought it would be fun someday to use the fact to put my thumb on an AP. If you buy stock, Disney has made it really easy for you. It's just gonna cost you 1,000 dollars.

FWIW, customers pay the bills, not stockholders.

Well they used to have a shareholder's program, but I was told it was dismantled...

I own a few shares, nothing to write home about... Disney is one of the most widely held stocks there are, particularly because it is part of the Dow index...

Ironicly, it was investing that led me here...

And yes, it means nothing... But I like the idea that I own a gazillionth of my favorite Disney products... And the dividend is pathetic I must say... But I am glad to give it up if it means better attractions at DCA and DL...
