Been trying for a year to get an invite to eat dinner at Club 33! HELP!

    Hellllllo!!!

I have been obsessed trying to get an invite for Club 33. Any fellow Mice wanna help? I am turning 33 this summer and would LOVE just 2 reservations for dinner! I would be forever grateful and willing to pay. I have been trying since last July to attend.

    Please? =)

Re: Been trying for a year to get an invite to eat dinner at Club 33! HELP!

From what I know, if a 33 member makes a reservation and the guests don't show up, they pay for it, literally - they have to reimburse the club for the full amount of whatever that dinner would have been. And since the meals at 33 are supposedly around the same price as a one-day park ticket, per person, that's not cheap. That could be one major reason that 33 members might be reluctant to invite someone they don't know. They also don't know how someone will act, if they will meet the dress code, etc. if they aren't familiar with the person.

Having said that, I hope your birthday wish comes true, somehow. I personally would LOVE to see 33. I can't eat there because they serve shellfish and I'm allergic, but I can dream. Anyway, it's understandable and I hope it will happen for you.

What Malina said is correct. Essentially the club member is on the hook for you if they make a reservation for you. So unless you personally know somebody with access to Club 33 ...

They do some special events that utilize Club 33, that's one option you can possibly look into. But those typically are very expensive.

As for the cost, the lunch is essentially the price of a 1-day park hopper. Add in drinks and it will be more. When we ate there a few years ago it was $300 for 2 people for lunch. Dinner, from what I understand, is more expensive.

Dinner cost me about $200 for two people, including a glass of wine and a martini. They charge a minimum of $80 per person for dinner.

We generally only have 1 drink with lunch (plus tea or coffee) and our bill is about $125 per person, including tax and 18% tip. Dinner is a larger variable, as you can have more courses. Always figure a minimum of $100 for dinner, and plan for tax and tip (8% and at least 18% if not 20-25%.)
If you see a cute yellow lab puppy with a yellow cape, WAVE! It might be us! (Or it may be someone else that lurks here!) Thank you for asking before you pet! Next trip, Dec 22-Jan 3rd.

i know of a great place to eat for a birthday! yeah it's classy like 33 , but still just as nice and won't cost a arm and a leg! and tale this as a suggestion but why not make a dinner reservation at the Carthay Theater! don't need to be a member to do that, they have a public side!

Re: Been trying for a year to get an invite to eat dinner at Club 33! HELP!

Thanks everyoneeeee! SO crazy but after this post, I finally got an email from a friend who works for a company that has a membership! Reservations have been made for April 16th! Not on my birthdate but I will take it! Thanks soo much for your replies! I do have to pay for my own entrance fee which is fine because I have been a annual passholder since I was 21. Not only do I get to invite one person to come but 6!!

I know my first post was asking for a bit much, my apologies but who is laughing and telling me it's not going to happen now? =)

Have a wonderful and magical day!!
