Cancer survivor solicits free trip to Disneyland on Ebay

I was cruising ebay tonite and came across this "auction".
    http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...MESE%3AIT&rd=1
I thought it was a novel way to get a trip to the Park since she is too old for Make-A-Wish. The "auction" runs until June 8th if you want to donate.

I want to believe it, but the cynical and skeptical side of me says somethings up.

    I understand.

I think it is something that each person has to decide for themselves.

I guess I'm cynical as well. There are many cancer survicors out there and this one deserves a free DL trip more than the others, because she put it on ebay.....I don't think so.

I hope she makes it, and I hope it's not a scam.

    Cancer sucks.

    Hi!

I'm totally not faking it! Here are some "proof" pictures as you requested!

The Little Leg (as we call it)

Here is me super sick from chemo (ick)

Here is me before I got cancer (the second time)

Here is one more of me and The Widge (our puppy):
Hmmmm.. now that one is realllly small. I'm new to this whole Photobucket thing.

Now, I don't really think I deserve a trip to Disneyland more than anyone, but I figure that I might as well try. This trip is a kind of "Yea I'm better!" trip AND an anniversary trip. We spent our first wedding anniversary in the pediatric hospital at Stanford. The nurses were really nice, they got us a strawberries and cream cake which my husband devoured (I was WAY to nauseaous for that stuff!) and then I was pumped full of chemo. :0) But hey, some people aren't even that lucky.

I really don't expect anyone to donate anymoney at all, I just wanted to let you guys know that I'm not some creepy money hoarder. :0)

    Have an good one!

Yeah I am for the time being. My prostetic isn't finished yet... my leg doctor is trying to get the fit really good so that it doesn't hurt when I walk. That picture kinda looks like I'm floating, huh? :0)

Talking Re: Cancer survivor solicits free trip to Disneyland on Ebay

Oh, I have a really cruddy rental that creaks when I roll. It's really better than nothing, but I'm thinking about asking the insurance company to get me my own. :0)
