New Video - Enchanted Tiki Room

Another RU42 creation hits the internet....Disneyland's Enchanted Tiki Room! The Tiki Room came out of an extensive rehab in March 2005. This footage is post rehab.

It will begin in the Tiki Garden and take you inside to enjoy the original show.

You can get this video in 3 places:

1) #Disney-Central (servers can get it off Distro now)

2) alt.binaries.multimedia.disney OR alt.binaries.multimedia.disney.parks

3) Visions Fantastic (Click here to go there)

Visions Fantastic is still free, but you are required to be a registered user to download files. On the bottom of the Tiki page (link above) is a link to the new video. It will take you to the Gallery.

If you are not logged in, you will be asked to log in. If/When logged in you will see the gallery page. You will see and icon in gold and purple of the Castle with VIDEO on the bottom (you want the one that is on top; not the 2 on the second line.) If you click on it you will be asked where to save the file.

I hope you enjoy it.

(If you are familiar with #Disney-Central or Newsgroups I ask that you grab the video from there in order to conserve VF bandwidth.)

What happened to the multi-angle remember video that I was SOO looking forward too, hmmmm?

It will be released within a week (or so.) The audio has been remastered and the video is 99% complete. I am waiting for some graphic works to get done and then it is time to render and convert.

The Remember video will be launched probably 7/1. Maybe a little sooner.

If you liked my 5/5 video, even with the trees in the way, this one will blow you away.

BUT - - - for now enjoy The Enchanted Tiki Room!

BTW, that tiki room vid is awesome! I just finished it! Well, well done.

Very good video RU42. I haven't seen the updated Tiki Room yet but from the looks of it, the birds' movements are much more fluid and natural. One thing I don't like about the new Tiki Room is how they took down all the landscaping behind Pele and the other tiki gods over there. You can see people walking in the background and it's too open now. Before it created a nice comfortable little mini-berm inside the waiting area and it felt like the Tiki Room was self contained.

But the show is just amazing to watch again, even from a video. I kind of wish they'd have put back the Offenbach number because I always found it to be a very relaxing part of the show. The video of the show was top notch, with excellent angles and perfect cuts. It really feels like being there and you kind of forget you're watching a video.
