A Taste of WDW at Disneyland

The Disney Podcast Network hosts a weekend event at Disneyland in the late Spring. A banquet dinner on Saturday night is a tradition of that event. This year's banquet entertainment comes to us all the way from Walt Disney World. We are very excited to announce that we will have Yehaa Bob Jackson from Walt Disney World's Port Orleans Riverside resort joining us as the entertainment for the evening. Bob has been bringing laughter and music to audiences at Walt Disney World for more than ten years. Bob combines his great boogie woogie piano skills with comedy and sing along to create a unique audience interactive experience. No one has more fun than us!! Seats will be limited so you will want to sign up quickly.

Re: A Taste of WDW at Disneyland

Yes, it's that time of year. The time when Disney Podcast fans from all over the globe make their plans to attend one of the fastest growing and most popular Disney Online Community events. The DPN's Westfest is shaping up to be THE event you will not want to miss. Join all of your favorite Disney Podcast Network Podcasters at our annual gathering of Family, Friends and Fans for a weekend of FUN!

    What is the DPN's Westfest?

The DPN's Westfest is a gathering of Podcasters and Forum Members from the Disney Podcast Network's online community. Westfest is free to everyone who wishes to attend (Park admission is required and is not included). Anyone with a love of Disney from near or far is invited to join the DPN at the "Original Anaheim Kingdom" in Southern California. This is a perfect opportunity to visit with good friends, put faces to names, make new friends, have some laughs and share our love for what Walt Disney created over 50 years ago. The DPN's Westfest is the perfect way to expand your Disney experience!

    What to expect:

Westfest is YOUR weekend. Enjoy your visit to the Disneyland Resort the way YOU want. Take some time to explore the parks and along the way the DPN Podcasters will be holding events in which you are invited to participate. Attend as many or as few of the events as you wish. The events can be as simple as sharing a ride on one of the attractions or more involved like taking a walking tour and getting the inside scoop of some of the more intimate details of the parks given by a former Cast Member turned Podcaster. The signature event is the Banquet Dinner held on Saturday night (separate admission is required). This is one Gala Event you won't want to miss! The events are scattered throughout the weekend to give a nice balance of activities and times to relax and enjoy what the Disneyland Resort has to offer. At The DPN's Westfest there is something for everyone. Just as Walt wanted a place that parents and children could experience together, we want the DPN's Westfest to be an event that can be shared and enjoyed with all people. The DPN's Westfest is an event meant to be shared among families and between friends for a weekend that you'll be talking about for years to come.

DPN's Westfest Banquet, "An Evening With Bob Jackson":

The DPN's Westfest Banquet Dinner has quickly become a cornerstone of the entire weekend as our signature event. All of the DPN Podcasters attending Westfest will be in one place at one time. This is your chance to sit down with friends both old and new and enjoy food, drink, conversation and some awesome entertainment.

We are pleased to announce that the 2008 DPN's Westfest Banquet Dinner's theme will be "An Evening With Bob Jackson". Bob has been bringing laughter and music to audiences at Walt Disney World for more than ten years. Several of the DPN Podcaster visited Bob at one of his shows during previous Mousefest events. You may have heard or scene him on some of the podcasts. Bob combines his great boogie-woogie piano skills with comedy and sing-a-long to create a unique audience interactive experience. This will be THE event you won't want to miss!!! To find out more about Bob Jackson, visit his website at http://www.yehaabob.com and visit him at the River Roost Lounge at Port Orleans Riverside when you go to Walt Disney World.

There will be dinner served, a cash bar, and special treats followed by Bob Jackson. Tickets need to be purchased in advance! The dinner menu and complete details of how you can purchase your Tickets are available at http://www.dpnwestfest.com/index.php?/westfest/banquet
