    Tomorrowland Circa 1975

All this talk about the upcoming changes to Tomorrowland got me to thinking- boy, things are gonna be different. And I kept thinking about old and new...and the end result is I decided to blog. But before that, I put up a photo of an old Disneyland guidebook, so everyone can compare and discuss the upcoming changes against the past.
I have tons upon tons of Disney memorabilia I can share that cover many (too many!?!)decades now. And the thought of doing that got me pretty excited. My scanner is going to be busy...
Then the idea kind of grew to an on line blog to share my love for life, music, travel, and my family as I try to walk out my life. A little of everything, I guess.
Here is the link if anyone is interested: http://insightsandsounds.blogspot.com/
I can guarantee that I have no connections to Disney whatsoever other than all these old guidebooks and photos and all kinds of stuff- but it could be fun.
    Thanks!

Very cool Mark! I really like the graphics you used for the page.

Gosh I miss America Sings. (I was 8 in 1975). I miss being able to take my kids on it, to expose them in a fun way to American folk music and patriotic songs.

There then and when they RE-opened it again in 1998 ( I believe ) .

I was so afraid of Adventures Through Inner Space when I was little, because I thought they actually shrunk you! ha!

Tomorrowland circa 1975...what memories for a certan former CM. They g0t the go-ahead to start building Space Mountain that year...on what was then backstage area not far from the men's locker room. What a thrill to each day as I came in to dress, to see them laying the original track and building it sky-high as they began to build the "mountain" around it.

Thanks for providing some nice memories, and rekindling some of my own.

That's really interesting, but I thought ATIS was free. In that map from the guidebook, it's listed as a C ticket.

I love going back in a time machine, thanks. I only wish I could have been able to attend the park when I was a kid.

ATIS started as a C ticket, then became free later.
Should have another post on the blog tonight...
