DL to WDW Gumball Rally Tips & Tricks

It would be great for our veteran Gumball Rally participants to give some advice, tips, tricks, encouragement to the teams that are competing two weeks from tomorrow. The WDW teams are going to have a total blast as they race around the parks trying to ride as many attractions as they can.

My tip: Bring a plastic zipper bag for your Gumball Rally Packet.
Anything listed on the park maps as an attraction is fair game for inclusion in the Rally.
I cannot confirm nor deny the inclusion of any attraction in the Rally.

May the Gumballs Be with You...Always.

    NO GOATS!

I think it's really hard to offer advice on this one... this is the very first GBR ever at WDW. No one knows what to expect! WDW is so much larger and I think the Rally will be entirely different from the DLR experience. I get the impression that the emphasis will be much more on the strategy and "scavenger hunt" aspect at WDW, as opposed to the pure speed and foot race type of Rally that the DLR GBR has become. But... who knows!?

Ok... Bring food... don't stop to eat!!
We've found that a clipboard it helpful to have a solid surface to write answers down on.
    Good morning, son
    In twenty years from now
Maybe we'll both sit down and have a few beers
And I can tell you 'bout today
And how I picked you up and everything changed
    It was pain
    Sunny days and rain
I knew you'd feel the same things...

I second bringing a clipboard and snacks. And a zip lock bag is great in case you have to collect items along your journey. Like any all-day trip to the park, wear layers of clothing so you are ready for whatever comes up. Have a great attitude and be sure to "trash talk" the other teams.

Oh, and bribing the officials is always encouraged, especially if you bake super awesome cookies or something.... It won't really help you win, but it's probably good karma!
    A signature should go here.

Re: DL to WDW Gumball Rally Tips & Tricks

Advice: Have fun Take time to say hi to friends and fellow competitors. Yes, you can stop and talk to the last place team when you run into them and still win the rally .

Also to be prepared, other guests or CM's around the park will ask you what you are doing when they see your packet/badges etc. so represent MC & your team well

The practical stuff... Wear comfy shoes. Bring water.

i think enjoying the experience with your teammates is the most important thing, i've never had so much fun with my husband and 2 friends as i did the day we did the rally.

also protein snacks are good to have like nuts and jerky

and water/gatorade to keep hydrated so you can scream like a maniac when you win 3rd place
Will there be screams when the sun sets,
