Pacific Northwest MouseMeet, August 14th, Lynnwood, WA

As I'm visiting my in-laws in the Seattle area that week, I'm kind of tempted to buy tickets to MouseMeet. Especially if the books are still available...

I'm a newbie to the whole 'meet' concept... Is it fun? Is it worth it? In other words, would a preschooler be entertained or bored silly?

Any thoughts y'all could share to sway my decision??? Thanks!

I think it depends upon the kid. They have activities for kids. For example, last year they had a storytime with live music (music was provided by members of a local symphony), stuff to color. Some of the kids enjoyed the pin trading and pin trading games. This year Garrison Titan will be there, so if the kid loves Star Wars, they will be very happy.

Hopefully Tinkermonkey can stop in an give her opinion as she had a preschool age kid with her last year.

Thanks for the info! On our summer visits to the Seattle area, so far we've gone to the Woodland Park Zoo and got to see last year's Jim Henson exhibit at EMP (in the words of my oldest, "where are the yellow glasses to see Kermie?"). It's looking like our next trip to DLR won't be for a LONG while (possibly not until next year - eek!!!), so this meet is looking more and more like a great fix!

One thing you want to remember is the tickets are only sold online prior to the event. You cannot buy them the day of. I know they have sold a lot, but are not sold out last I heard.

Me! Me! Me!! I got tix for Cait and I so we will be there, minus the Monkey this year, thankfully. Can't wait to see people and watch my girl get her Disney geek on with meeting Bob Gurr!!
