Mice Chat Photo Meet #4

I am thinking about planning the next Mice Chat Photo Meet for Friday, September 23rd. We should have some Halloween activities going on by that time as well as fireworks that night.

How does this date sound to anyone interested???

The reason I picked that friday is because Charlotte is coming down from Oregon and that is the only open day she has for it. I am very flexible so I try to accomodate those people that are spending a lot of money and traveling a long distance to join us.

I like the idea of having one during the D23 Expo. I know I can't make it that weekend but that doesn't mean other people won't want to have one.

If that date coincides with the half rally then that would be great though it hasn't been officially announced yet.

Thanks Mike for offering up the September 23rd date. I so appreciate your flexibility with your schedule to allow others, who are not so lucky to live so close, to participate in the meet ups. You know I am "in" for that date (9/23) and I really hope others will be able to make it as well.

Well, I don't see why we can't have a photo shoot during D23 Expo and call it #4 if anyone else will be at Disneyland that weekend in August? Then, I think it would be fine to do Meet #5 for Sept. 23rd if that's a good day for many people.

I think doing one during D23 will do two things..it gives us one extra photo meet so we almost have them every other month if we don't have them as 12 a year, and two it will help get the word out to others from across the country about mice chat and and some other good things that they can find here not just the photo shoots?

Should we start two new threads and label photo shoot #4 in August, to be determined during D23? and Photo shoot #5 as Friday, Sept. 23rd. so people can put it on their calendars? Then we just have to find a good time to meet up during D23, or maybe meet up at the Convention Center? Or see if D23 will add it to their schedule of events?

Please do! Feel free to set up a photo meet for that weekend. I know I can't make it but I'm sure lots of other people will.

I like the idea of having one on a Friday. Weekends are hard for me to get away, and most of my trips to the park are during the week.

The photo meet dates have always come at a bad time for me but I will be at the D23 Expo so I would love to do a meet up that weekend.

Hi guys! I've been extremely busy lately and haven't kept up on these posts! I would love to meet up and do a Photographer's meet up, either on Sunday during the Expo, as well as September 23rd! I learned so much at the first one I went to, and I would love to learn even more! Looking forward to seeing some of you at D23!

Maybe we should start discussing what everyone would like to "Focus On" for the Photo Meet on the 23rd. The Remember Dreams Come True Fireworks will be back that night, so that would be great to shoot.

I also have a very interesting Photo Contest planned for it that should not only be a lot of fun but a very learning experience.

So the questions would start with:
Do people want to photograph the parade again?
Fireworks vs World of Color?
Any specific attractions like Haunted Mansion Holiday?
Halloween Decorations?
Characters such as Princess Fantasy Faire or otheres?

Ooh! I completely forgot about Big Thunder Ranch. That will be a definite area to spend some time.

I am hoping to get there around 10:30 am. I don't know if everyone wants to meet for breakfast at Tangaroa Terrace or White Water Snacks before heading into the park, but we can discuss that as we get closer.

I got both that Friday and Saturday off work, so I'll be there!
You know me, I want to shoot the parade. If we do that I would prefer the early showing.
Definitely interested in Halloween decorations and Big Thunder Ranch.
My vote is for fireworks.
As far as the princesses are concerned, I keep seeing photos of them walking around the castle but I've never seen them there. Does anyone have any information or interest in that?
