As kids we heard our mothers say things like; “Wait 30-min to swim after eating.”, “Don’t watch TV in the dark.” and most important, “Don’t run with sharp items.” Honestly, can there be chance of fun if there isn’t a chance for injury? Running? What you call running, we call walking fast. Besides, it can only be considered running if you get caught. :-)
The Root Family has two teams checking in for our first Gumball Rally.
First up is the slightly morbid (and hopefully not true) Grandpa's Last Chance. Dad is a young 72, but the name was Grandma's idea. We left her at home.
Team two is Red Wine and Chicken Tenders. The name is based on the two teammates favorite things. Next year it could be Hangovers and High Cholesterol.
Looking forward to seeing everyone in the morning.
