Re: May 21st - One Year Anniversary of first "single rider" meet

Gosh I wish I wasnt gonna be in London that day.

OK I'm lying. I wish it wasnt THAT weekend how about that? I'm gonna miss this potentially awesome meet I'll probably be visiting Dover and Canterbury that day, I'll be sure to toast you from the white cliffs and then tell a tale of Micechatters at Canterbury.

Though I wasn't there for the first meet, I look forward to making the 1st anniversary of the single rider meet.

I think I'll be there on the 21st, although I don't know how much time I'll be spending at the meet.

Hey, Anders, why is this one at noon at the hub when the other meet is? Why isn't it later on like they usually were? Just curious.

Awww...looks like we wont be able to make it
Marge: Barnacle Bill's Home Pregnancy Test? Homer, shouldn't we have gone with a better-known brand?
Homer: But Marge, this one came with a corn-cob pipe!
Marge: [reading from the test box] "Ahoy, Maties! If the water turns blue, a baby for you! If purple ye see, no baby thar be!"
Homer: So, which is it? Blue or purple?
    Marge: Pink.
    Homer: D'oh!
Marge: "If ye test should fail, to a doctor set sail!"

no real reason, we can set it up to meet at anytime. I just said at noon since that's when a good portion of MCers show up at the park. We can meet at 3 at the well again as well, but I figure most who would be in the park that day would be there already before then, but I leave it up to popularity.

So, those attending, say what time you'd like to meet and where.

I say we stick with tradition. Noon meet than the SR meet at 2pm at the Wishing Well. Then the COW pic at the hub and a ride on Small World.

How late might this event run? I'd like to meet for the COW pic, but can't be at the park TOO late on a Sunday evening.

well, keepin with tradition, COW pic would be after the 2:00 meet at the wishing well, so assume a 30-45 minute meet at the well, which will likely be more like 15-20 minutes, so around 2:30 the COW pic in the hub will take place my guess. As for how late it goes, you can stay the rest of the night if you so choose, the original lasted past the fireworks, but people come and go from the meet throughout the day as they so choose as well.
