    6.25.2006 Star Wars Fan Day

Hey, I don't know how many of you heard about this last year:
    http://www.disneylandstarwars.com/

But once again, this year we are trying to get as many Star Wars fan as we can into the park on Sunday, June 25th. Pretty soon we'll have shirts for sale (approved by Lucasfilm even!) and all the proceeds from the shirt sales go to the American Cancer Society! So if you want to come that day and show your support that would be awesome.

Oh man!! Living 1000 miles away sucks sometimes!! My seven year old would be in HEAVEN if she could be at Disneyland (favorite place) celebrating Star Wars (favorite everything). Ouch. This one hurts!!

I'll have to buy a shirt though, if that's possible!! Let me know how I can do that, thanks!

With the PotC premiere & SW Fan Day, that is going to be one loooong DL weekend for me!

    OK, I love that!!

As for costumes, adults are not allowed in with costumes. I'm pretty sure they wouldn't allow it for a teenager, either. As for the Obi-wan there last year, I'm assuming he changed in the park. However, security can stop you if they see you in costume.

The Old Ben DID sneak his costume into the park. ANd you might tell your nephew that according to one of the Supervisor's that I know..he was also ESCORTED out of the park. So please don't do it. As much as some of us are regular costumers (and I'm a pretty fanatical SW costumer myself) , that little stunt really put a bad name on the SW Day and the Fans in general. We really want to prove to Disneyland that we can still respect their No Costume rules and have an awsome time at the Parks as well. So why don't you have your nephew buy a Unofficial Disneyland SW Day shirt instead and support Cancer Research...or wear a SW themed shirt. But please, please, no costume. Thanks and looking forward to you guys being there. The more the Better!

P.S. If he really wants to show off his Jedi's, then tell him the big SW Celebration IV is scheduled for LA next Spring. THAT is the place to really wear the outfit and it would be appreciated there.
