Bay Area "Behind the Magic–50 Years of Disneyland" meet

Hey guys, just a reminder that the "Behind the Magic–50 Years of Disneyland" exhibit at the Oakland Museum opens next Saturday (May 6th) and I thought it would be cool to have a Bay Area MiceChat meet. The opening weekend will be crazy busy, but I figure some time in the week following would be cool. What do you think? It would be fun to meet some fellow Disney nuts and the exhibit should be great!

A friend of ours works for the museum and told us about this event quite some time ago. Glad to see that the time has finally arrived. We plan on going a few times.

What dates are you thinking about?

Thanks for posting this, I had no idea about this exhibit and I definetly don't want to miss it!
As far as a meet, were you thinking a Sat or Sunday?

I'm thinking Sunday might be better, as far as crowds go. So that would make it Sunday, May 14th. I was reading a piece on the exhibit in the Contra Costa Times and it says that the AA Lincoln will be on display also! It will be neat to see it close up!

Well, the exibit will be in town until mid August so finding a weekend that everyone can attend shouldent be too hard. Any one have any problems with the 20th or the 21st?

I wish that exhibit was coming up to the Seattle area. I just missed it in Michigan. It opened after I left.

I think I may go ahead and go this Saturday to get some pictures. According to the site its got some cool stuff.
