Cool Regular, weekly meet (an invite to newbies)

    Hey folks,

I know we've had a lot of new members join our community, so I thought I'd take this opportunity to post about something that many members who've been around a while take as a given.

If you're looking to run into some folks in the park, aside from the various and sundry "special" meets people like to declare here (and btw, you're welcome to declare your own, just post a thread), there is a regular weekly meet on Sundays at noon, in the hub, between the White Rabbit and Goofy statues (or as near to them as can be managed).

So there you have it, if you've ever heard reference to the Sunday meets, Noon at the Hub, etc, and wished you knew how to join in, you now know. Consider yourself invited to stop by and say Hi!

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe...

"But Morrigoon," thejoshualee asks as if he was new to the internet and micechat. "Isn't meeting people from a website dangerous? What of the online predators and weirdos?"

(by the way, the one meet I was at was very fun filled with friendly, welcoming people who just wanted to have some fun at Disneyland. I suggest you go)

The moderators require that we have rabies shots before we're allowed to attend any meets. So any weirdos you may encounter (and you will encounter some) are well vaccinated and won't harm you even if some might bite.

In all aeriousness, I want to mention that just because you stop by a noon meet doesn't mean you're stuck with us all day You're welcome to say Hi and go, come with us to lunch rthen leave, or just wander off at any point.
    Good morning, son
    In twenty years from now
Maybe we'll both sit down and have a few beers
And I can tell you 'bout today
And how I picked you up and everything changed
    It was pain
    Sunny days and rain
I knew you'd feel the same things...

Maybe when I am down there I will try to make a meet. J-Lee, since you live hours away from Disneyland, I will do my best to let you know as soon as possible if I will attend so you can come down too .

If you can't find me, just look for my Amish carriage in the Disneyland parking lot and follow my odor

DW, wouldn't it be easier to look for someone in overalls, sucking on a hayseed and having your **** dog close by.

Seriously folks , the noon meets are a blast. We don't get to the park that often (live in AZ), but when we do they are always fun. No pressure; just talking and sharing Disney stuff. Always someone makes you feel at home - nice quality about MiceChat!

Bird Flu, no. Though we have been accused of being Cuckoo...

But darn it all, I'm almost out of A.D.D buttons, and I have to find the one or two that are left. (Blast from the Past time...)
