Thanks. Dr has told her to 'take it easy'. About 4 weeks ago, she went into pre-term labor - contractions were 3 minutes apart and in a 40 minute time period, she'd had about 18. I thought maybe it was Braxton Hicks, but it wasn't and they had to inject tributeline into her to stop the contractions.

It seems that when she does a lot of 'stuff' she beings going into contractions....and on Thursday, Dr. told her if she has more than 4 in an hour, she needs to call the hospital and come in for emergency c-section. They don't want her to go into labor for fear of internal rupture from a surgery in December and now a hernia on top of that.

On Saturday I was on the edge of my seat all day long. She was contracting a lot so we thought it best to pack our suitcases and put them in the car along with a baby bag and get the carseat in there. She was having 4 contractions in a 70 minute period.....so it didn't qualifty.....but if you saw my wife right now - you'd think she wouldn't make it to Oct 18. She figures if she can make it until this weekend, she'll be happy and he can be born any time.

So - hopefully the sooner he is born, the sooner we can join in for a 'meet'! It would be fun!

Same here, I had to stay in bed for several months before baby was born, it was hell but I did it so I could have a healthy baby. when she was born they found there was an infection in the amniotic fluid and she was very ill, I was very ill and we were both in intensive care for 12 days.
Be good to her, rub her feet and back and let her rest as much as possible, I can not wait for this baby boy to be born, I love babies

Thank you! I can't wait either - the excitement is growing.....my wife and I 'tried' for 4 years to get pregnant - and found out she was pregnant at our 4th wedding anniversary this past March 2. So, it's was QUITE the gift - let me tell you. Docs told us we probably just weren't going to be able to conceive.....not sure why. We were investigating adoption when we found out she was pregnant. Later on, we may still adopt. So many unwanted babies need a loving home and a big brother to protect them!

Actually on the 12th only going to Grand Californian to celebrate Mr. Lightyear999's Birthday along with a No. Cal. Micechatter and his family. Will probably be heading over to the Hearthstone following dinner for Hot Chocolates (maybe a drink for the elders). You could look for us there around 8:00PM or so.

Us lucky Aussies can purchase 14 day passes here, so I will be in Disneyland almost everyday from the 9th until the 21st. The 14 day pass was only $6 more that the 4 day park hopper pass. we are staying at the Desert Inn across the walkway
