films, celebrity guests and members of Stallone's extended family all walked down the gold carpet on their way into the historic Grauman's Chinese Theatre.
Talia Shire, whose Adrian character has died in the new film, wasn't sure she wanted attend, fearing the film might prove too emotional for her. But she was there to show support along with former light heavyweight champion of the world, Antonio Tarver, who plays Mason "The Line" Dixon in the movie.
"No one wanted to do this movie," said Sly's brother, Frank. "But the movie had to be done. It was really important for his well being and his career. The last few years have been a little rough as far as the movie business, and now all of a sudden, the buzz is out there."
