Anyone for Hockey? Hey all you Disney and sports fans out there. You want to watch a bunch of grown men (myself included) attempt to play a sport that brings millions to people who are actually GOOD at it? Perhaps the thought there is a very heated rivalry between the two teams would bring you out? Our last 2 games brought out bench clearing standoffs, cheap shots and retalliations, and even some high energy play (for a non-checking league). If that doesn't seal the deal I am sure there will be some really pathetic spills and maybe some "checking" in the "non-checking" league finale.
Date: Saturday, March 24th, 2007
Game Time: 10:40pm (sorry it is so late, that is the schedule)
Place: Anaheim Ice (Formerly Disney Ice, at the corner of Harbour and Lincoln behind the construction)
Price: FREE!!! (like anyone would pay to watch this stuff)
Come root for the Halloween colored team (Angry Bar Flies) as they take on their hated rivals, the Timberwolves! Come out with all your friends and just make it into an off-site meet. You can skate the open ice session from 9:30-11:30pm if you all wish, just stop over once in a while to say hi!
If you want to come on out feel free to post here or let me know in private messages. It would be fun to have actual people watching our game and a crowd for us (other than Goonie, that is).
