The official mice chat general meet is always on sundays so it's generally the easiest day to coordinate. And I just absolutely cannot do weekdays because I'm always working...and if i COULD get the day off, I don't think Disneyland is what I should be doing. Getting repairs for the car, checking out furniture, going to the post office... that's the stuff I do if I could.
Maybe you should take a holiday and join everyone else on a sunday? It would be too hard to get everyone to take the weekday off for a single rider meet unfortunately.

What CB said (and I DO work weekends, tough only Saturdays). Sundays are also when the most people have the day unblocked. But I do take a Sat or two off through the year for DL (mostly for the anniversary meets!)
