Can we try to get a group picture. Maybe we could all arrive a little early for the picture.
I so wanted to go, especially since it's cheaper than Party for the Senses at Epcot. But I didn't have a spare $100 to indulge on food right now
Have a GREAT time everybody, I expect to see trip reports!
I just got an email from Disney confirming that Barrage will indeed be performing. More information on this group is available at:

Looking forward to seeing you all on Saturday!
Hubster and I are getting ready now...
...ready to eat, drink, and be merry!

The most disappointing were the two salads, from Hook's and Naples. Neither really had much flavor or did anything for me. The sushi was disappointing too (California roll, cucumber roll and tuna roll), but that was mostly because I know Yamabuki does so much better sushi than that.
I don't like a lot of wine, and I don't like chardonnay, but the only one I liked was the late harvest chardonnay that was a dessert wine.
My favorite dessert was the peach compote with vanilla bean panna cotta.
The atmosphere was terrific, and it was just about the right size crowd - not too sparse but not crowded. I hope they do this again next year.
And I also now have to find Barrage CDs to buy...
We just got home to Oceanside from this event and had an amazing time. All the CM's were top notch, the food was inventive and tasty, it was such a treat to meet so many of the chefs who were so gracious and clearly proud of their work. Each and every CM did everything they could to be sure we had a great evening . . . and we did! We'll be back next year if they do it again. Thank you, Disneyland!!!

It was so fun!!!
Good food & wine, awesome cast members, great music, and so much fun to hang out with a bunch of Micechatters!
My wine glass actually made it home without breaking!
Next year..........

Sounds like everyone had a great time. I'm sorry I missed it. Since I have one of the lower passes, I didn't want to splurge for the blackout day ticket.
To those who went - do you think that it was not only worth the $100 admission but also the extra cost of a blackout day pass?
I can't speak to that since I didn't need the extra ticket, but there were a few people in front of us in line going through the DCA turnstiles who were using blackout day tickets with their non-PAPs to get into DCA for the event.
I would say that if you're blacked out that day and still really want to go if they have it again next year, I'd factor in the cost of the blackout day ticket and see how much more it would cost to just upgrade to a PAP. It of course depends on how much time is left on your AP for that year and what level you'd be upgrading from and whether you'd be getting extra use out of no longer being blacked out for the rest of your year term.
Cindy, I'm hoping that you're planning a traditional longer review to post to colddeadfish....yes?![]()
Yes! It might take a while though. I made the husband take lots of pictures - of the food, of course!Work's been really busy, and then we'll be at the Star Wars convention the end of next week, so we won't have time for at least the next week or two. Thanks for asking!
