    Morni Peeps!!

I was just at the theatre and there was a sign that for the 7pm Sat show of Pirates the first two rows behid the bar (the best seats) were reserved for BD parties....is one of them us hopefully??
If not, maybe Tigger can reserve some seats for us so the girls dont have to wait in line...
who knew you could do that at a movie theatre??? sheesh!!

I can check but I'm pretty sure that to get reservations you have to pay extra. I think they have a birthday party package where you pay so much for each person and it includes ticket/food/reserved seats but it costs a lot more than $ 9 per person.

Any thoughts on if 15 is enough for dinner ?

It won't hurt to overestimate the dinner reservation to Brewery management. Make the reservation for 20, as it is possible that others may show up. There's certainly no penalty for having a few heads less show up than what we make reservations for.

One party has reservations for theater seating tomorrow at 7pm. We have it logistically worked out, anyway, to get some of the best seets. I've told the main assistant manager that we will have people staking out our place in line way early, and she was fine with that. She will be there at matenae time and another asst. manager will be there in the ecening. I plan to show up way early tomorrow and meet both of them personally.

Line wise, here's how things will work -

PB's kids will stake a place out in line at 4:30, if not before. However, the line that will form with them wull be for the 4:45 and 5:30 shows. We should be assured of being first in line for the 7pm showing. The theater will usher us in at 6:30, which means that we will all need to join the kids in line no later than 6:15. We are certainly be organized far better than anybody else there! PARTY! PARTY! PARTY! PIRATES! PIRATES! PIRATES! AYE!

Re: NorCal "POTC: AT WORLD'S END" MEET FER ALL YE PIRATE LOVIN' SCALLYWAGS!

Ok a minor hitch in our get along.

I seem to have had a Pooh Bear moment and instead of making ressies at Brewery I made them at Feed & Fuel, a restaurant right across the street from the theater.

However it may have been a good boo boo.

I went to Brewery to make ressies and they already have a party of 20 and a party of 25 for 5pm on Saturday. I have a call in to their banquet manager to see if we can get in, but I wonder if we really want to try and eat there if they already have 45 people. We will have roughly 90 minutes to eat.

I am going to keep the F&F reservation and will let you know on the Brewery as soon as I hear back.

I am very sorry for the boo boo, I can only plead that I channeled Pooh for a bit.

There are plenty of places to eat though, we just may end up dividing into 2 groups.

I know we shouldn't post personal info, but I figure my business phone # is pretty public anyway.

I will be call forwarding to my cell on Saturday if anyone needs to get in touch.

    209 951 7837.

If someone needs a place to park, I do have a few spots available at my office, let me know.

Red Face Re: NorCal "POTC: AT WORLD'S END" MEET FER ALL YE PIRATE LOVIN' SCALLYWAGS!

The Feed and Fuel is new down here, and not getting very good reviews...here is a link to an article...to sum it up, its pricey and the food aint great....
    http://www.recordnet.com/apps/pbcs.d...-1/a_entertain
I havent been there, but owning a boutique a block away, I hear quite a few reviews, and they have all been about the same. There is a Feed in Fuel in the next town over, and it has beenthere forever and is really good, but everyone here is pretty disappointed in this one. Its used to be a bar/restaraunt called Legends which wa a Plaet Hollywood ripoff, with movie props (pretty lame ones), then it turned into Movie City, and Now the Feed & Fuel. The funny thing about it is that they have NEVER chaged to decor or props, in all three restaurants!! The place looks exacty the same as it did when it was Legends, 15 years ago. You would the the new owners (any of em) would want to change it up a wee bit. I could see if it was really popular or cool, but it has never really caught on, no matter what name it has o the front.
Anyhoo...not trying to bum anyone out..just wanted to share what I know about the place!

Re: NorCal "POTC: AT WORLD'S END" MEET FER ALL YE PIRATE LOVIN' SCALLYWAGS!

To quote the immortal Rossane Rosanadana, never mind.

I was in Lodi on a last minute ticket request so I stopped in at the Brewery one last time.

I'd like to credit my good looks and charm, but as I have neither I will have to credit it to good luck.

I have secured reservations for 20 people at The Brewery.

The only change is they suggested we do it at 4:30 instead of 5 to make sure we have plenty of time to eat.

So the start time is moved up by 30 minutes, we can meet in front of the theater around 4pm.

Or if you prefer you can show up at the Brewery at 4:30.

Getting to the Brewery is easy. When you are standing in front of the theater you are at the corner of Pine and School street.

If you head South on School street for a few blocks you will get to the Brewery. (for the directionally impaired, South is away from the theater rather than along it)

I will be wearing my blue Tigger Shirt so I should be easy to find.

Once again, you can also call me via my office line at 209 951 7837.

Christi has kindly offered the ability to store food at her place which is between the theater and the restaurant.

I can also offer both parking and storage at my office, which is a couple blocks north of the theater.

Looks like we will have a good turnout !

yeay! I wasnt sure I could bring myself to pay $25 for bad chicken!!
Another correction...the theatre is not on the corner of Pine and School, but my boutique is. I think the theatre is on Oak and School...one block up.
Its no problem if ya'all want to meet at my shoppe which IS Pine and School, just didnt want you to think I had movie screens hidden somewhere!! :-)
Now, parking...there should be plenty on Pine (not any on Oak), and there is an empty bank parking lot at Church a9street next to School) and Pine, which is where I always park. that might be a good place, since its inbetween the Brewery and the Theatre.

Oops a typo there on the street.

Anyway as long as we all eventually get together it should work.

We'll limit our political debates to the subject of how sipping ice tea amd nice cold brewskies helps to reduce the effects of global warming.

Also, I'll probably make a few offhanded remarks about "bush" now and then ...but, it won't have anything to do with dubby and the veep, or any other politicians.

That baby blue tigger shirt must make you a real babe magnet. Hope all the amorous reaction to that sexy tigger appeal doesn't get us kicked out of the Brewery. Otherwise, it's back to the freakin' Feed "n" Fuel. Fueling up on expensive fossil food is not my idea of a good time.

Thanks for the parking info, Christi. TicToc just confirmed he is coming to to see the show. That makes a total of 15, now. I had advised tiggerfan to make reservations at the Brewery for 20, in case extra people show up.
