As most of you know, myself and a few other MiceChatters walked for the Cure Autism Now Walk Now event for Los Angeles back in April. We managed to raise over $4,000 for the cause, and it was a lot of fun too.

This is just a thread I wanted to start, to inform you all of the upcoming Orange County Walk Now for Autism event. The date for the event is Saturday November 17, and it is scheduled to be held at Hidden Valley in Irvine.

Since I already organized the LA walk (and because I'm busy with personal things) I just don't have the time to involve myself in the O.C. walk. BUT, if anyone is interested in starting a team, please, go for it! It's a worthy cause, it's a fun day and around 75% of the money raised goes towards research. Plus, with so many MiceChatters living in the O.C. area, I figured some of you might be interested in this walk moreso than the Los Angeles walk.

Here's a link to the walk site:

And they also have a MySpace page as well:

If anyone is interested in starting a team, and would like to keep the tradition alive, we called ourselves "MiceChat.com" here in L.A.
