Steve, did you post that before or after you voted? I guess you guys could always ferry both directions...silly bridges.

One thing I wanted to bring up is carpooling. I'm not saying you have too, but if you are interested, post here and we will work to set it up. This can be very useful if you are coming from farther away or say, South WA or Oregon.

It's only about 40 minutes tops from the airport to Gig Harbor, so it's very reasonable you could make it even if you stayed with your friend until they went through security at 2!

Just trying to see if it might work to have you with us...
Where IS Gig Harbor anyway? Same ferry I'd take to your place? (We bought a dog over there once, remember?) Do I catch the ferry in downtown??? Anyway---I need more info. I haven't been there before, but, I am willing to try because I ALWAYS miss every meet between work and out of town guests. (The last one of which ended up being an EX-friend after she took advantage of free room and board for 3 nights! I missed a meet for THAT THING?) Ugh!

Anyway---this time it is my best friend from AZ. We've been best buddies for 32 years. I will want to stay with her til the last possible second, so, I will check back when I know 100% what time her flight leaves.

Aw man, we are out of town that weekend. That sounds like fun too. Hey, it's possible we might have it canceled, but not likely. The theatre sounds very nice. We have a newer theatre at Alderwoond mall (Lowes) with stadium seating, yours sound nicer though. We saw Ratatouille at Lowes.

I have never been in that theater, but I love how it looks outside. It reminds me of the Hall of Justice from Superfriends.

Neenie - I'll PM you with a link that has driving directions. There is a nice (toll) bridge that gets you here faster from the airport than a ferry would. You could ferry home and get home faster though.

Thank you for the invite, as always! I have to work weekends unfortunately... But, on the brighter side, working weekends now, leads to a Disney trip sooner, rather than later.

    Have fun!

Re: Wahoo WA MC'ers meet for WALL-E!

By popular demand, my plans are now revealed!!!

time4recess and I will be there for the whole thing! Wouldn't miss this one unless evil clowns came and drug me back to the circus!

And I'm willing to go to a later movie time if that means we can get Janine there.

Rich brings up a good point gang - and I'll run it by Janine too - we can bump everything to later and that would allow Janine to get there in time for the movie more than likely.

    Thoughts?

Re: Wahoo WA MC'ers meet for WALL-E!

Ok, we have our first wave of showtimes available!

    11:30, 2:00, or 4:00

The movie runs 113 minutes so whichever time we picked, it would be safe to say that 2 hours later would be when we would be at ice cream.

Let the conversation continue - do we want to bump things to go to the 4:00 show so Janine can make it? (Poor girl is at DL right now so she can't answer if that would be something she would like) or continue with the 2:00 movie plan? Another option is to wait another week to see if they add any other show times.
