Are You 23 / D23 - Disney Campaign - What is it?

This seems like a new project from Disney that Iv'e never heard of. Anybody know more info??

ADMIN NOTE: Please read this thread for full information. The summary is the "Are You 23" campaign is a social marketing effort by Disney to promote and build interest in a new magazine, fan site, and Expo which will launch March 10th, 2009. The Magazine will be published 4 times per year.

This campaign created a great deal of speculation on what the campaign really meant. We now know that D23 is the name of a Disney fan initiative with a web site, magazine, and fan Expo.

Disney will charge a hefty $75 for "membership."

hmm.. odd there was an ad at Disneyland today with this I was wondering what it was. The web site has Tinkerbell showing up every now and then.

Well, Pixar turns 23 this year.. must have something to do with that?
Edit-Pixar IS 23.. currently.. that's the only thing I can think of it that could correspond with this.

Edit-Pixar IS 23.. currently.. that's the only thing I can think of it that could correspond with this.

I think if it had something to do with Pixar it would have a Pixar character instead of Tinkerbell. I just want to know if it's for movies or Parks and Resorts.

Well, Pinocchio is released on Blu Ray starting March 10 (celebrating its 70th anniversary), but I have no idea where the number 23 fits..

That's all I can think of.

Has anyone seen this around the park and does anyone know what this is?
Disney has started another viral campaign and it seems they've done a pretty good job keeping mums on it. All the posters say is "Are you 23?" and "March 10 - Disney".

It pops up and asks "Are You 23?" then Tink flies in, flicks her wand and a count down clock appears.

Disney releasing 23 classic animated films on to Blu-Ray disk/boxed set. That is what the commotion is about lol. Nothing theme park related unfortunately.
