Thanks for sharing - this is cool. Will be good to know all the details once Disney figures out the specifics. The movie looks funny and most of the Pixar films are high quality.

I hope that by screening, they mean for free.

They often do free screenings for people working in the studios and even for the public.

I'm sure it will be pay. Your membership gives you the option of going.. not paying for you to go They should make it pay to be able to control crowds and avoid people grabbing tickets they won't use, etc.

I just hope they have multiple locations. If all of these events are going to be held in Southern California, I'm going to be really bummed, and kind of upset.

This screening will more than likely be added to the promotions/publicity schedule of standard advance promotional screenings. For example the first set were last night for Disneynature's 'Earth' which opens 4/22, tonight are the first two for 'Hannah Montana The Movie' opening 4/10. I couldn't make that 'Earth' screening but will be taking my niece & her friends tonight. Both films will definitely be getting at least a half-dozen more word-of-mouth screenings each in various locations.

I'd guess the 'Up' screening will be at the El Capitan Theatre so they can get 1000+ in there and feature the hinted at guest Pixar panel appropriately. Plus this location will make for better publicity photos for the next isue & better video for the site. If there is a fee for this particular screening remains to be seen, not to mention the out-of-towners factor to assure those "rsvp-ing" can actually attend.

I'd like to, if I can arrange it. Sounds fun! I haven't been to the El Cap for a midnight showing since the POTC films.

Great. Any word on screenings elsewhere in the country?
    Good morning, son
    In twenty years from now
Maybe we'll both sit down and have a few beers
And I can tell you 'bout today
And how I picked you up and everything changed
    It was pain
    Sunny days and rain
I knew you'd feel the same things...

From 3/26 in the original thread on this D23 screening:

This screening will more than likely be added to the promotions/publicity schedule of standard advance promotional screenings. For example the first set were last night for Disneynature's 'Earth' which opens 4/22, tonight are the first two for 'Hannah Montana The Movie' opening 4/10. More than likely there will also be the standard advance screenings in the usual markets via local radio & TV stations, newspapers etc.
