Jeremy Costello, Production Assistant on The Princess and the Frog, has started a blog on D23 where we can track the progress of this highly anticipated animated film. In his first posting, he reveals that 15 feet of animation footage has just been approved and another 200 to 300 feet will be produced in the coming week.

This film marks Disney's return to both hand drawn 2D animation and musicals. A lot of hopes are riding on this princess.

The blog was just updated. This is one that I'm really trying to follow, I know many of you are as well.

This time around, we hear from Marshall Toomey, who is a Key Clean-Up Artist on The Princess and the Frog. He was also a Supervising Lead for "Rafiki" on The Lion King and Key Clean-Up Animator for "Quasimodo" on The Hunchback of Notre Dame as well as working on Tarzan, Atlantis, and Home on the Range.
