Dave Barry and Ridley Pearson, authors of the Peter Pan Starcatcher series are confirmed to speak at D23 Expo. I just saw it on Ridley Pearson's Twitter feed.
A press release about the Expo went out this AM. Apparently the tickets will go on sale next Monday morning.
* * * * * * * Disney announces four-day fan expo set for fall
LOS ANGELES – Fans can get an early look at "TRON," "Toy Story 3" and Tim Burton's take on "Alice in Wonderland" this fall at Disney's first fan expo.
The four-day "D23 Expo" will be held Sept. 10-13 at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, Calif.
The event will feature sneak peeks of new Disney films, celebrity appearances, props from past Disney shows, an eight-room "Disney Dream Home" and various products.
Tickets go on sale Monday at Expo & Events | D23 | The Official Community for Disney Fans.
Jim Hill posted that tickets are going on sale today at Noon. I can't find that documented anywhere else. Can anyone confirm?
It looks like the AP story got it wrong -- everything else I'm seeing says tickets go on sale TODAY!
And, it looks like it's going to be a pretty spectacular show. Can't wait!
The Expo info is now available HERE.

Then there's the question of noon in what time zone...
I wonder if they're giving members first shot at tickets, before opening it up to everyone next week?
Regardless, I'm ordering my tickets today. Why wait?

Then there's the question of noon in what time zone... Sorry about that. The news is up on MiceChat. The tickets won't be available until a bit later this morning - between 11 and noon (perhaps a bit later).
Did anyone purchase tickets yet? Do they let you sign up for events or give you any access or do they just give you a ticket? Is there any advantage to buying now?

If you are interested in a multi-day ticket, you might want to buy now. Apparently, they will be in limited supply.
