Re: D23 Tour at the Walt Disney Studios

Judging from the other events, it may just be a week or two before the event. As soon as we hear more, we'll post here.

I'm really looking forward to this one.

I'm looking forward to this one, too. A D23 exclusive event, and it's FREE. The studio doesn't normally do studio tours to the general paying public. So, this will be special.

Re: D23 Tour at the Walt Disney Studios

Anyone know how many tickets will be available. By reading it, sounds like only a 10 am tour. The questions I can think of are:

1. How many "groups" will there be?
2. How many people in a group?

I am just thinking that they would certainly have to have more than one group of say 50 people wouldnt they?

Perhaps 10 a.m. is the first tour of the day and there will be more. I hope, otherwise it will be almost impossible to get tickets.

Well it's been 3 weeks now and guest services STILL hasn't activated my account. Guess I won't even have a chance of going.

Re: D23 Tour at the Walt Disney Studios

Did you get your confirmation email, Coheteboy? If so, your member number is in there, and that should be all you'll need for the event. Granted, you'll need to print out the email and bring it with you, for confirmation, if you haven't received your member card by then.

My Dumb Question: How do I find my member number?

Completely different issue. I have my member card, my magazines, my certificate, everything. But I'm not recognized as a member when I sign up for these events.

What that means is no discount on Expo, no Up movie event, and no signing up for the Studio tour. I've sent them 5 emails, one email asked to reply once again with the information I've ALREADY provided but I never heard back after that.

Re: D23 Tour at the Walt Disney Studios

At this point I'd call and keep asking for supervisors until someone can resolve your issue. You shouldn't have to do this, but if you aren't getting answers from e-mail, I think you're going to have to to get into events. I searched for Disney D23 customer service and couldn't find a number, but I was able to located the original press release for the D23 announcement (below). There are three numbers on it of Disney PR people. While that isn't customer service, I'd start with one of them and see where you get. Maybe at least they can give you the direct number of someone in D23 who can help you.

Re: D23 Tour at the Walt Disney Studios

Call Michelle, that should be a good start. Let us know what happens from there. There are a couple of closer moves to make after that if they don't pick up the pace.

Ack, Coheteboy, the same thing is happening to me! I'm terrified that the tix will run out before they recognize my membership...and the tour is the whole reason I got it in the first place!!!! Have you had any luck yet in finding out how to get them?
