How has your experience been with D23 Customer Service

I was just wondering if I am the only one EXTREMELY frustrated with D23's means of conducting customer service....After 3 e-mails and 5 calls to Disney shopping I still do not have my 2nd quarter package from D23. I have to call the Shopping line and they call D23 or e-mail them...after e-mails I get ZERO response...If they call them I end up spending countless time on hold waiting to hear back....not only that... I have no choice because there are no refunds so if I want my stuff I have to work for it...ARRRGGGG!!! Just wondering if it was just me or if I've run into a string of bad luck.

    I'm sorry to hear that
It sounds like they don't have their own customer service - just Disney's? which I haven't been so impressed with :\
    Good morning, son
    In twenty years from now
Maybe we'll both sit down and have a few beers
And I can tell you 'bout today
And how I picked you up and everything changed
    It was pain
    Sunny days and rain
I knew you'd feel the same things...

Oddly enough, on some prior DisneyShopping purchases I was less than satisfied. We had a problem with one of our D23 membership kits...the litho. arrived crushed and the actual package never arrived at all. I called and they shipped a new litho and package via FedEx. No problems and the items arrived very quickly. So at least this time everything was good.

I have found the customer service to this point to be very good. They were responsive to the one request that I had and very easy to work with. Unfortunately we live in the internet age and expect everything to work as fast as the internet. I have found that with new start-ups like this patience is not only a virtue, but a necessity. I am sure the D23 team is working very hard to process your request.

I hope that that is the case....When there was a problem with my mom's welcome packet she had a response in 24 hours.... sounds like they grew too quick for the number of requests that they are getting... and I don't nessasarily expect everything to be quick (despite the "internet age") but over a month and a half and still no resolution or even a clear set expectation that has been met... don't think it's too mucht to ask.

Re: How has your experience been with D23 Customer Service

    One word: HORRIBLE.

My D23 subscription was a gift. Talking to my friend who got it for me, he had to change his credit card's address to mine just to get it to SEND! Way to go, Disney.

Now that I have the subscription, everything arrived and I got the 2nd package even.

But now is the time when you really need your membership card to sign up for the cool events and discounts.....

"sorry, your D23 account is not activated"

    You gotta be kidding me.

Out of two emails, the 2nd one got a response, but didn't fix the problem as I had to resend my information. No response back. It's been 2 weeks now and my account still doesn't work.

I'm getting frustrated as well. I STILL have yet to receive my membership packet and I need my membership number to enter the Donald competition. I called disneyshopping and they gave me the number to ticket sales in California?!

Your membership number is in the email receipt you got after buying the membership.

Re: How has your experience been with D23 Customer Service

I'm not sure about this, but I don't think that D23 actually has its own customer service. I believe that some of it is outsourced to Disney Shopping and the Expo is handled by a 3rd party company.

I'd imagine that as D23 grows they'll be able to have some of their own staff for such functions. Sounds like they need to have a few words with their partners to ease some of these customer service issues.

This all being new to them, I'm sure that there are all sorts of things to be ironed out and refined.

I'm still having nightmares about all the unexpected issues we ran into with our first Gumball Rally, it gets easier each time we do one. I would venture to guess that the same will be true for D23.

Re: How has your experience been with D23 Customer Service

I'm dealing with them now. So far it's been pretty good. When I was buying Expo tickets I put in 2 ea for Saturday and Sunday. Then, before I checked out, I decided I wanted one 4 day pass instead of one of the Sat. and Sun. tkts. However, there is no option for editing your cart once something is in there. They seem to be taking care of me, so far.

Re: How has your experience been with D23 Customer Service

Well, the Expo customer service was able to change my order within about 5 minutes. Great job. Now, if I can get my membership card before the upcoming events I need to show it for..........

5 emails to customer service about getting my account activated. 2 weeks. Still nothing.
