If they wasted their limited budget distributing buttons in NYC where they know few people will travel from, that leaves them less buttons to distribute in the LA area where most of the visitors will come from.
It all makes sense to me. Give away some cute little marketing buttons to the Disneyland fans and hope that some of them will actually attend the Expo in September.

- Penguins from Mary Poppins
- Figment
- Chip N Dale

I got them all at Disneyland. At the World of Disney Store and Disneyana.
When I was at Disneyland yesterday, I was able to obtain Crush, Ariel, Hitchhiking Ghosts, and Sorcerer Mickey. My fingers are crossed that some of these will be handed out here at WDW so I can try to complete the set, but since the Expo is in Anaheim, I'm not sure that they will.
I got the buttons at Disneyland too, and I lost my Ariel one. I realized this right as the park was closing and Disneyana was closed, so we rushed to World of Disney in Downtown Disney and it was closed too. Ah well
I got one at the Disneyland U.S.A event.
Where is Figment????
I am losing my mind trying to find the lil guy. I have called EVERY disney store between Laguna Hills and Valencia and no one has figment. El Cap does not have him, just the penguins and Chip N Dale. Where could figment be?
FYI to those of you who are at Comic-Con. D23 is giving away different EXPO buttons each day at the booth. Yesterday was mickey. This morning is chip and dale.

Argh, I should have read this thread before I went down to San Diego. I got the Mickey button, didn't realize there would be a different one daily so I neglected to stop by yesterday.
