Exclamation Kiosks at the Expo - DISCOUNT THEME PARK TICKETS!

    Kiosks at the D23 Expo

    http://d23.disney.go.com/expo/pavilions/kiosksatthed23expo.html

If you aren't an annual passholder, you may want to visit the "Disney Desk" at the D23 Expo prior to visiting the parks!

    • Disney Desk

A special theme park ticket rate is available exclusively for D23 Expo attendees when they visit the Disney Desk booth. Attendees can select from a twilight ticket (after 4 p.m. admission pass) to a 1-Day Park Hopper pass to Disneyland and Disney's California Adventure.

Plus, small kiosks for the following business units will also be at the expo:

    • Disney Vacation Club
    • Disney Rewards® Visa® Card from Chase
    • El Capitan

That's neat. If they have a unique Disney Visa gift at the Expo, I'm going to be mad. I already have a card. lol.

That's a great (and generous) idea of Disney's. Awfully sweet to take the Expo attendees into consideration.

As per Disneyland, a twilight ticket is $46 and upgradeable. although 4 twilight tickets are still less expensive than a 4 day hopper.

So, screwing the early planners who made sure to buy before the price increase.

By the way, where are the people now who were defending closing HM and SM because the Expo and DL weren't meant to be in cooperation?

I guess you could look at it that way if you are just trying to upset yourself. But they have just announced something really good for the people attending the Expo. I hardly see it as "Screwing" anyone as you put it. And who cares about any attraction which might or might not be closed??? We'll be at the Expo for huge chunks of the day and there won't be time for everything at Disneyland anyway.

The parks do not revolved around you, me, D23 or anyone else. They operate and make business decisions which are necessary for the hordes of crowds showing up throughout the year. Disneyland is in the process of preparing the parks for a huge Halloween push this year and Space Mountain will be a part of that.

Not everyone will be able to have access to all attractions at all times. That's the way it's always been, and as a die-hard Disney fan, I'm sure you know that already.

Nice Disney must be expecting a lot of non themepark folks to be rolling into town that Week. Unfortunately I have my tickets already purchased for the parks and I am sure I'm not the only one, this annoucement is a bit late. A note for D23 for next years Expo, some Members do like to plan ahead of time, so need more than a few weeks notice.

Well said Dusty, and its not like both parks havn't got a hundred other things to do either. The fact Magical will be performing during the night time more than makes up for a couple of E Tickets being closed during a time that is still considered the off season.

You also have to figure that some die-hard fans will be coming to the Expo with their families in tow - kids who'd rather meet Mickey than Bob Iger. So I think it's great that D23 is offering discounted passes for families to use while Mom and/or Dad are over at the Expo drooling over D23 pins and Lot 40 in the auction.

    Interesting!

It seems DL is starting to promote aft 4pm tickets to various groups.

For Gay Days, they are offering some special ticket rates, too:

My boyfriend suggested that I not buy tickets if something like this happened. Glad I took his suggestion.

Re: Kiosks at the Expo - DISCOUNT THEME PARK TICKETS!

This makes me wonder just how much there will even be to do at the expo. I've kind of been worried about the fact that four days is a very long time and there doesn't seem like a lot of offerings that will keep me entertained all day (yes it's a sense of entitlement but I'm shelling out the $90 here). Our backup plan has been (since the start) to go to Disneyland if/when we run out of stuff. Especially with the half day ticket it feels like they're trying to find something for people to do (and if it's a bit more money in Disney's pocket then so be it).
I'm really not trying to naysay or be cynical here, but it just makes me wonder. I know plans aren't finalized and a lot of things haven't been announced yet, but I just can't help but wonder about it all.
