D23 Gift/Merchandise Chronology

Hey there all-

I'm new to D23, but have started collecting anything and everything D23 fast!

I thought it'd be nice to make a concise, thorough list of all D23 merchandise/gifts/flyers, anything D23!

I saw an old thread for pins only, so I thought I'd make a thread for all items.

I will update the list as more people chime in, but I thought I'd start out with Launch Day to get things started!

Re: D23 Gift/Merchandise Chronology

Great idea!

You should also keep track of what comes with the Magazines as well!

First issue technically came with nothing, but you can include that Mickey Mouse litho for fanclub members, membership card, and certificate. Don't forget the D23 sticker too!

2nd issue came with the Donald Duck fan

3rd issue came with a '59 attractions patch (23 lucky members got set of all 6)

Re: D23 Gift/Merchandise Chronology

Thanks for the reply!

I'm updating slowly but surely!

I'm curious as to the "walt disney archives collection." Can we find a definitive list of
the items in this collection?

The official D23 press release mentions a 5-piece mickey pin set from the One Man's Dream attraction at WDW, that says the set is the first in the series. Anyone have photos of the exhibit?

I think this would be very beneficial to "completists" like me!

The pin collection mentioned is actually based on the Archives logo that you can find on the D23 website's archives page. It is all the different incarnations of Mickey. I don't think there is a list of all the collection as it is constantly growing.

Re: D23 Gift/Merchandise Chronology

I've updated the list some more to include the new winter issue. Also, does anyone have anything they'd like to add?

I'm trying to keep the list down to non-generic items (no clothing items unless special, no watches, jewelry) more on the lines of freebees, pins, flyers, stuff like that.

Any help would be appreciated!

Here's my list of "Walt Disney Archives Collection" items:

Set of 5 mickey pins (not for sale?)
Set of 6 Disneyland '59 patches

Walt and Oswalt Statuette
Walt Disney Studios Patch

Am I forgetting any?

Re: D23 Gift/Merchandise Chronology

I don't think I see the Charter Day pin included on your list...

Those who joined on March 10th, 2009 got a special pin for joining on the very first day. I got lots of compliments on my pin at D23 because it's somewhat rare!

It has Jiminy Cricket on it and it reads:
D23
Day One
Charter Member
March 10, 2009
