Re: Magic and Merriment - sells out in zero seconds
Thanks for the reply! I went back on and got the Tron tickets!! Yay!
And yeah, for me the Tangled "link" (i.e. email instructions) came up at like 10:03 as well - I was freaking out a bit. I also sent my email off right away and got the Out of Office reply, but I too as well just got my email confirming that I can go! Woo hoo!
Very excited. Okay, I can't complain now at all about the events - although if you hadn't told me, I would have just assumed that the Tron tickets sold out and never would have checked again. I guess it pays to be persistent and never trust Disney's ticketing system. I suppose I should know better after years of dealing with the crazy Candlelight ticketing situations. =)
Thanks again for your help!!
Alisa

Well, you wouldn't have to get the full Gold membership for both obviously, you could just get the silver membership for the other person. Or they could do one better and offer a "family" membership for your spouse or s.o. for a discount.
As for the geopraphic location... well that's just the way it is with events... they don't have many in other places so you would just have to decide if it's worth it for your family for where you live. Doesn't really have any bearing on the reasons requiring both guest be a member for HTG event tix, IMHO. Personally, I would travel to events anywhere if they were good enough, but that's just me. :))
Frankly, sometimes I wonder why anyone who is not in CA or FL is a member at all.

Glad you got it all worked out, Alisa. :)
Re: Magic and Merriment - sells out in zero seconds
jonthan, I wonder that too LOL
It just isn't as easy for us to travel being restricted with work and now with a family. And money of course lol!
But a family plan would be something to look into.
Fantasmic! glad everything worked out for you :)
Re: Magic and Merriment - sells out in zero seconds
Hi, all. I've been a lurker here for awhile now. I was fortunate to purchase tickets to Magic and Merriment. I too was sitting at work hitting the refresh button. We've heard so many great comments about last year's event and can't wait to attend! 10 days until the motorhome heads to Florida and Fort Wilderness.
