I was wanting to go, but we're leaving at 8am this morning to go hiking. Say hi to Mickey for me! Take pictures! Hope they open that place more often.

I'll be there. Typically, I like to do trip reports and take pictures of D23 events, but Mickey's of Glendale, being that it's onthe imagineering campus, tends to be a no-pictures place. If you'd like, I can try and draw pictures representative of what we saw.haha

But then there's the part about posting it online where the d23 staff will see it and then confront you and possibly risk hurting the relationship between the club and imagineering/mickeys of Glendale which could hurt future opportunities in the future.
They tend to do mickeys of Glendale every few months so if you missed it this time around, it's likely there will be a next time.

As for a trip report on this one, I just have to say it was hot. I arrived at 9ish and there was a good crowd inside. The line still wrapped around the store, but by the time I was done paying and headed out the door (around 11) crowds were much lighter.
I played it safe this trip and only bought a shirt and hat and some pins. I splurged last time and got a WDI leather jacket. I was surprised to see Disney Geek Jeffrey there as well as other staffers (Laura and another guy I recognize but don't know).
No Mary Poppins D23 event in San Diego as the staff is way busy. Perfectly understandable.
Definitely go later in the day. The crowds do thin out quite a bit.
