Re: Disneyland off the Map- D23

I heard there were only like 250 tickets and it sold out very fast...
If you see a cute yellow lab puppy with a yellow cape, WAVE! It might be us! (Or it may be someone else that lurks here!) Thank you for asking before you pet! Next trip, Dec 22-Jan 3rd.

I should say. Like in 2 minutes!

Sorry, I checked for a thread on this and didn't find it. Perhaps the mods can merge them.

    D23 Off the map

Sorry to hear you did not get in.

I think the only way I made it was because I used my brand new laptop with 8G ram, so I could be fast as possible. My desktop computer is older and slow. I did the same as you and refreshed over and over. It is amazing how fast it sold out with the cost so high.

I am 90% sure that they will be having dinner at club 33. During the ticket process it quoted the club 33 dress code. (without saying club 33)

It has been a life long dream for me to be inside Walt's apartment. I was lucky and went to club 33 with the carolwood pacific club 173. (Walt's Barn)

I hope they do it again for those who did not get in.

Wasn't so lucky this time around...according to their FB page it seems they may host the same event again.

It really does surprise me that they would sell tickets to Club 33, but with the recent changes in T&C it appears things at the Club aren't what they used to be. Times, they are a changin'!

Also what I hadn't thought about was that D23 is also a "club" and since tickets to this event were available only to D23 Club members... Disney can still technically claim that tickets for dinner at Club 33 were never sold to the general public. And that would justify the $250 price as well.

I think the Tahitian Terrace idea is great (kinda the type of thing I had in mind in my previous post). I would much rather have dinner there with a cool show than Club 33!

Not 250 but only 30 tickets, each person taking 2 means only 15 people got tickets.

They said 30 on the D23 facebook page. It makes sense. 3 Groups of 10 guests. Plus tour guides. That alone will fill Club 33. Walt's apartment isn't large either. So this would make the groups manageable.

Re: D23s Disneyland Off the Map event

D23 members took to the website in droves as the event sold out in record time -- most have estimated it was only between 30 to 45 seconds before the $250 member only event was gone. Many never even made it past entering their membership number and last name, this Examiner included.

Alright, the list of people confirmed to be attending this event so far:

    Isny
    Jaren
    Disney_Leonard
    DisneyAmy
    JulieMouse
    MaconMouse

If I'm missing anyone, please let me know. I'll make sure to start a meet up thread and we can work out the details and maybe even get together for something after the event ends out at Gardenwalk or DTD.
