Pokemon Platinum

I have dusted off my Pokemon Pearl and Diamond games and began playing them again in anticipation of Pokemon Platinum. It is always a lot of fun for me to open up a brand new Pokemon game and begin playing it. I understand that the basic story in Platinum will be like the Pearl and Diamond games with some added stuff. I am curious to see what will be new, and what new Pokemon might be added.

I presently have 444 Pokemon in my Pearl game. I'd have a full Pokedex, but I let my grandson migrate all those Pokemon from the Advance games to his Pokemon Diamond.

Anyway, I am having fun at the moment playing my Diamond game. I got my 7th badge last night. It's always fun and challenging to battle with new and different combinations of Pokemon. I now am using a Steelix, Poliwrath, Raichu, Arcanine, Staraptor, and Torterra.

I traded all my pokemon from Pearl to Diamond so that I could play Pearl over again, and get Palkia. It took me a long time. 1/2 way through the process, I wish that I hadn't started, but it was the only way to accomplish my goal. Now that I am playing Pearl again, I am having fun naming my Pokemon. It seems that I am going to have to play all the old games as well in order to get many of the legendary Pokemon.

My biggest dilemna is getting Milotic. I just can't seem to get the beauty raised high enough. I get it fairly highly, and then Feebas won't eat anymore. I am going to have to ask my grandson to mix berries with me. Maybe that way I can make Poffins that are better.

I am looking forward to what new things and Pokemon are going to be in the Platinum version of the game.

I always loved the Yellow version of the Pokemon game, because Pikachu walked around, and also because you could get all three starters in the game. I still have my old Game Boy Color, and I sometimes do play my old games on it.

yeah that's what i like about it the most!
i just like that he follows me.
i wish they could somehow develop the game so that any pokemon you wanted could follow you.

I have been extremely busy playing the older versions of the Pokemon games, with the hope of getting closer to a complete Pokedex. I finished up Red, and caught Entei yesterday. Had, I known that the starter Bulbasaur determines the appearance of Entei, I would have started with Charmander, or Squirtle. Well my grandson now has dibs on that Entei.

Speaking of the grandson. He managed to do in just a few hours time yesterday, what I have been trying to do forever. We mixed up some Poffins together using Razz berries, and fed them to two Level 2 Feebas, that liked dry berries, and low and behold, we now both have a Milotic. I am a happy, and thankful granny.

Pokemon Platinum comes out in just one week, and my Pokedex is now at 430.

My Pearl Pokedex has been floating around 472 for a while now. I can't wait for Platinum though, I'm gonna import all my Pokemon over there and fill the dex there.

It takes a lot of time to move Pokemon from one game to another. It took me over a week to get my Pokemon into Diamond from Pearl. Now I need to play my Pearl, and get Palkia.

I am totally looking forward to getting Platinum!! I'm glad to read that you got your Milotic. She is one of my favorites!

The weather has been beautiful, and here I sit in my house playing Pokemon. I guess I spend too much time evolving pokemon, but I really want to get as close to a full Pokedex as I can before Sunday when Platinum comes out.

I find it interesting how they have tied all the games together. You really do need to play them all to get them all. I only wish that they had done more with Gold, Silver, and Crystal Pokemon. It would be great if I could migrate those Pokemon over. However, once Advance, and the smaller DS games came, they cut those ties.

Anyway, I have trouble riding the Mach Bike. I see that I will have to get better at that, if I am going to catch Rayquaza. Then again, that's where my grandson usually helps me out, if I ask nicely.
