![]() | Re: Activision threatening to drop PS3/PSP Shovelware never hurt anyone except the suckers who buy it. The fact there is tons of crapware for PC never stopped Valve from making Half-Life 2. The Wii is the same way - if publishers are able to make money on games like the Imagine series and kids are happy playing them. Win Win. I still got to play a great Zelda game too. And there are still other great games coming. Sony had some great games showing at E3... but still has a massive image problem with it's price point. Unfortunately the Guitar Hero and Wii success has lead to yet another 'peripheral war' which will clutter the industry for the next year or two. The 'me too' stuff takes up too much space. The one thing I don't mind about my rockband/gh stuff is it all works together and can be used by any of my games. Activision is just trying to push Sony. Pushing them for more support and trying to expand the Sony base so it is more profitable for them to market to it.
