As far as platforms, I'd hope three years later the noise over platform choices would come to a rest, but keep in mind that early rumours about what system something is for are often very inaccurate. Why would you pick a system when at this point you don't even have any real assets yet? This is all concept art.

These guys did their homework. Look at the Clock of the Future in the Tomorrowland drawing here Environ concept
Combine the graffiti of "Blot Sux" on the city drawing there and the filename of the reaper drawing here http://web.mac.com/askbotboy/Site/Ch...eatures_5.html being "Blot", the Phantom Blot seems to be the Big Bad in this game.

from what i read Phantom Blot is taking over the word by using audio animatronic heartless stye monsters,so many disney park icons are on a giant steam-whale (monstro perhaps?)

Umm ... wow. How very disturbing. I'm not sure what to think about this. I mean, Disney is supposed to be all about happiness and optimism. This game appears to be about revenge and destruction.
It's like some sort of steampunk-flavored Tim Burton upside-down cake, with American McGee icing and emo teenager sprinkles.

... On the other hand, though, I'll admit it's a very intriguing (albeit very creepy and depressing) concept.


But regardless, I can't imagine Disney ever letting something like that get released.

this is one of the most bizarre looking games I've ever seen. I have to say that I am intrigued if this game is released and looks anything like the concept art.

I don't know that I'd jump to that conclusion. I can see this being an Earn Your Happy Ending plot, where the protagonist gets put through the wringer in order to achieve a victory that is truly sweet. What could be worse than the icons of the Disney parks twisted and broken like this? For that very reason, what could be better than getting to see them fixed?

I want this game, and I want it to be pretty much what the concept art promises--dark and creepy and disturbing and cathartic in a way that something as sanitized and harmless as VMK never stood a chance of being. I want to step into the shoes of a hero who ventures into a nightmare ("the best nightmares ever" was my sister's impression of the imagery) and restores the Disney magic.

And let's not forget, this is the studio that gave us Chernabog and Maleficent and The Black Cauldron...uh...and Davy Jones. It's not like they've never tried their hand at the horrific before, and it's not like we don't love them for it already.

I was just looking at stuff for this game and had to jump on micechat to see if it was being discussed.
This looks crazy! I'm not sure if I really like it or not, but it looks different (which is a good thing). I like dark Disney, I really do, so we'll just have to see.

FINALLY this game has preyed upon my weakness: I've always found the Mary Blair exterior to IASW to be subtly scary for some reason. That's one of a few reasons why I preferred the WDW version until they recreated the clocktower there too, though at least it's not the size of a supermarket.

Except Wii actually has quite a few good games that people constantly ignore because HURR ITS WII.
Brawl, Mario Galaxy, No More Heroes, Zelda, Metroid and other stuff.

Evidently those games don't interest MM.

There are supposed to be a ton of good games for the PS3 too, unfortunately very few of them interest me and made buying my PS3 a big mistake.
