Mine are Jackson and Lightyear. I couldn't do Stacy since- duh- that is not a very tough guy name. I like Jackson. I wanted Nafarious Jackson, but it was too long. Don't ask.

I just practically threw the Wii out the damn window! I am at a part where I feel like SCREAMING! My blood is still boiling. So I had to step away for a bit.

Spoiler

The part where you are saving the Zora boy and you are escorting him to the Kakariko village and you have those stupid animals chasing it and catching it on fire. AHHHHHH!! I can't get it.

I know what I have to do, it's just one if those situations where you can't get it done! It's really hard. Too much going on at the same time. It is SO frustrating! I just tried again and I feel like screaming!

Ah yes, the screaming. I remember many a time you could hear "DIE DAMNIT DIE!" coming from my room immediantly followed by the controller being thrown against the ground, then me cursing myself for getting upset and possible damaging my console!

I can't WAIT to start this game!

But why did I get the GAME before I even have the Gamecube! Grrr!

I'll admit, that part had me frustrated at first too. Here's some tips for you:
Spoiler

Remember that you can use the Gale Boomerang to put out the flames. Just target the wagon and throw the boomerang like crazy. It'll buy you some time as you fend off the archers. Try to focus on the birds that throw bombs because they tend to make the wagon change direction. As far as the archers go I found it easier to just hang back and kill them after they had passed me than actually trying to clear a path or charging after them.

Hope this helps!

are you aiming with the Wiimote or auto targeting?

it's best to partial aim with the Wiimote then hit the auto target to actualy fire the arrow but yeah that's probably the most furstrating part of the game for me

Re: Twilight Princess Impressions

Spoiler
I tried using the Wiimote to hit him, but it NEVER happened. I have had more luck waiting for him to attack me and then using the sword.

Glad to know I am not the only one who is finding this part difficult.

No.2: How far in the game do you have to go until you reach the Master Sword? Is it based on the Ocarina of Time? Do you have to unlock the Temple of Time or is there even one at all?

I have been asking around different sites and such and haven't gotten the answers yet.

You just have to wait and see

Re: Twilight Princess Impressions

well- I have the MasterSword- and there is still lots to do! I am currently at the Arbiters Grounds.

Good game- and I am sure I will try it on the Wii when I get one- but I am happy I have it on the GC!

Re: Twilight Princess Impressions

I got through that part I was talking about earlier and it was SOOOO easy once I got it!

Spoiler
I had been trying to get the bird with arrows. I thought I tried with the boomerang, but I must have just missed the bird or something because I didn't think it did anything to the bird. After 2 days of totaly frustration I tried the boomerang again and it nailed that damn bird in one shot. It was SO easy to get through that part after that. Der.

hehe. Trust me Tink, there's lots of those "der" moments in this game. Congrads on getting it done. Now you can continue your journey

Re: Twilight Princess Impressions

Ok- I think I can finally post my impressions:

Epic in scale, detailed, beautiful and lots to do and find...but....

It's too easy. The temples seem small in scale-too easy to find your way through. The boss battles are laughable. I have never lost more than a heart or two in any of them yet.

No challenge there-wish there was. I have played other Zelda games where a boss would kill me- and I needed a fairy or two to make it through- no such thing here.

Hardest part of the game? Finding everything- but sadly while the game is huge in size and scope- the actual challenge in the game is almost non-existent.
