Dolly Parton singing with Disney characters

Just wanted to show the MiceChatters, a video that someone just surprised me with.

It's Dolly Parton singing "9 to 5" with the Disney Characters in the background.

It was supposedly made in the 80's.

I thought MiceChatters might like to check it out.

That's from the WDW 15th Birthday special that aired in 1987. I have the whole thing on video somewhere. It was hosted by Bea Arthur & Betty White.

I miss thoses kinds of specials. Snow White in the background makes me the most.

Dolly is so freegin awesome. There's this, obviously hokey, but she's so talented that she kinda shines above it.

My understanding is that her little amusement park is awesome, as the rumor goes.

Gotta love Dolly.

The beginning of that clip is hilarious. All the girls were like working at an office (typing) and the White Rabbit is their boss and he won't let them off work to attend the birthday party. Heh.

Now I'm going to have to dig out my video that has the whole special. I remember The Monkees, Air Supply and the Charlie Daniels band also performed.

EDIT: I have been loving theses videos. IMO, they seem to given a better use to the Disney Characters in this special. They are very entertaining and enjoyable then, what they currently are now.

OMG aimster that was an awesome find!! Thanks for sharing!

I had forgotten completely about that special, and vaguely remember parts from it. Thought it was funny how in the commercial break at end of part 6 they were promoting Song of the South and at end of part 12 also. Thought Goofy's voice sounded way off in the Frontierland segment with the Everly Bros. Gotta love Dolly's bit singing 9-5. Daisy Duck looks so short, and Alice and Cindy table dancing like go-go girls

I can't wait to go back and watch the other videos he has posted on youtube!

The Disneyland 30th birthday special is a riot. I posted all 10 parts in the DL forum. I saw this guy has the Easter parade from 98 or 99 on there too!
