"World's Largest" Solid Gold Mickey

The "Celebration Mickey" that was previously on display in Disneyland is now available for a small little fee of $895,000 on Ebay.

From the auction: "As stated by Disneyland Resort®, this " 'Celebration Mickey' is the largest solid gold sculpture ever created in the United States, and is the ultimate Disney collectible." This one-of-a-kind sculpture stands two-feet high and weighs over 100 lbs. in SOLID 24-karat gold (.9999 fine). That is 1,501 troy ounces of 24-karat gold.

"Celebration Mickey...100 Years of Magic" was created in 2001 by Disney artist, Marc Delle, in celebration of Walt Disney's 100th birthday.
The very rare collectible comes with a Certificate of Authenticity from Disneyland Resort® and was casted by "The Great Western Mint" in Orem, Utah, whom also certifies it's purity in solid 24-karat gold. This "Celebration Mickey" is an icon that will last forever, as one of the world's most cherished treasures!"

However... reserve not yet met and shipping cost of $15,000.00.

And the seller only has 1 feedback.

I'm sure that's a HUGE risk for anybody willing to send them the cash.

holy crap...that's one shiny mickey....who on earth is going to buy it through ebay, with the little feedback and outrageous shipping charge? DL should just keep it.
