Disney Cruise Kick-Off Party - Port o' Call, Los Angeles

According to a press release, this Saturday, May 28th, Disney Cruise Line will be having a huge Bon Voyage party to kick-off the first of its west coast cruises. They will have fireworks, kites, and boats in a kick-off pageant as the boat leaves port at 5pm. It is recommended, however, that guests arrive to the Port o' Call viewing area by 4pm.

Anyone up for this?? Let's make it a meet!

FYI- the first west coast cruise has not sold out so if you have $3000 (based on two people) and you can get the time off, you can get a Cat 12 inside stateroom for the May 28th departure. Or you can spend $6000 and get a porthole!!!! Geez, that's just highway robbery and we've already sailed on The Magic (Honeymoon, Sept'99). Nice ship but average on service and food quality as to other cruise lines.

Is the Magic in port in San Pedro yet? I should take a drive.

T, isn't that when you're leaving? We're still home until the 3rd. It would be fun to wqish you a Bon Voyage.

The boat's not scheduled to arrive at San Pedro until 6am on the 28th. Right now, I think they're docked at Cabo San Lucas.

And, we leave on the 4th, so I'll be wishing you a fun trip to Tokyo, NA.

But, Frodo Potter and I are going this Saturday afternoon to see the whole inaugural gala. We're planning on getting there by 3pm and having a late lunch at Port o' Call. If anyone wants to join us, you're most welcome!
