Here's hoping it's true, considering it looks like we'll be moving to Dallas in a month and will be separated from our beloved park. :/

According to ComingSoon.net, despite what the link at SuperBowlNetwork.com reads, the time purchased by the Walt Disney Company will not be used to advertise Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End. The site reports that Wild Hogs and Meet the Robinsons will be promoted instead.

Hmm....very interesting. Then I'm only 600 miles away from a DISNEY PARK!!! It's just hard to believe that this is anything more than a rumor...seeing how it's escaped the internet community.

Personally...I think they might better use the space to give Squanto another shot.

Anaheim was founded by German settlers who originally built a fort made of logs cut from cottonwood trees. With their ends in the damp ground, the cottonwoods took root and the entire stockade bloomed with beautiful green leaves. The english translation of Anaheim's original German name means "home by the river." (obviously referring to the santa ana river.)

Thats why the German restaurant at the corner of the 57 freeway and the Ball road exit has such good food.

Well I must say if they were to build a park anywhere in Texas Frisco is a good location. It is pretty much a boom town right now!! As in EVERYTHING is being built there. I obviously would be very happy if this were true. . . .So here is hoping!

Chances are very slim. The town is not as well known as Tokyo, Orlando, Anehiem, Paris, and Hong Kong.

That is the dumbest rumor ever. Why would Disneyland make a park in Texas of all places?

Re: Disney bought a SuperBowl Ad to announce a new Disneyland park!

I have family that live near Houston, and I've visited them repeatedly. Driven across Texas a few times too.

That said, I can honestly say that the Walt Disney Company would never be stupid enough to build anything more than a couple of Disney Stores in the state of Texas. And a new Disneyland in Texas?!? BWAHAHAHA!

You just gotta love the Texans for keeping this fabricated rumor alive for almost 15 years now though. They do get credit for perserverance, although I believe many of the current Texans clinging to this current rumor were too young to remember when it first surfaced in the early 1990's and so they don't realize they are just repeating the past. Again.
