Tomorrow we find out if this RUMOR is just that... a rumor. Super Bowl Sunday!!!

People on other boards are hearing the rumor non stop from various radio sources. Someone even said that the announcement will come at the end of the Super Bowl, I expect when someone says "I'm going to Disneyland!" or I'm Going to Disney world" or even better, in my opinion, "I'm going to Disney Parks"!

Damn. Double Damn. Alas I have been just another victim to the endless Disneyland Texas rumor. Oh wooo is me.

It turns out the radio *#&^@(#*'s were wrong and nothing was shown on the footbazz game. There was not even a "I'm going to Disney Parks" shout from the winning MVP, whoever that was.

That Colts won over Da Bears. The score escapes me as I try to mend my wounded Disney soul.

Here's hoping the announcement comes later this week! ;o)

At least I still have Walt Disney World, going back this summer & Halloween, and Disneyland, going back this Christmas! Yeah for Disney Parks and me spending too much money there! Yeah!!!

First of all- All the Texas hate...uncool......I'm in College Station and am not a gun toting, truck driving, republican hick. Texas is a pretty cool place. Granted its got bad things about it, but the same can be said for everywhere else.

Secondly....I grew up in Northwest Houston. My parents still live there. I'm always hearing about how Disney "just bought" a huge amount of land in Katy, TX....how Katy today is just like Anaheim was, growth wise, in the 50s....how Bush Intercontinental Airport is capable of handling the huge surge in tourists...and recently....how the HUGE Katy Freeway expansion that is going on right now was pushed through at a huge cost because city officials were in secret talks with Disney and that the Freeway would be the direct feeder into the new Disney Park.

Even though this probably won't happen...I'm not gonna lie....It's be pretty freakin' amazing for me...since I'd go home and be 20-25 mins from a Disney park. Not to mention an hour and a half away while at A&M.

A guy can dream can't he...?

PS - I remember my Dad telling me that there were rumors in the early nineties about a Disney park outside of San Antonio....turned out to be a new Sea World....
